Cambridge Helpdesk was formed in 2006 by Stuart Brown following a 20 year career in corporate IT Management in the UK, Europe and the US.

Our business works with organisations of all shapes, sizes, and sectors.  We help you [or them] get the best for your business from your IT, the web and telecoms, whatever your current set-up.

Larger and more established companies usually have an IT strategy and process in place, along with IT staff or external support.  We can objectively review your current arrangements, advise on improvements, and plan, support or totally manage any changes you decide to make to equipment or process - whatever you prefer.

Smaller companies typically have little or no dedicated expert IT resource. We can be your IT expert, ensuring you have the right systems, processes and equipment in place to meet your business needs. If needed, we can be your day-to-day support, ensuring your IT runs efficiently without any in-house specialist resource.

We're passionate about IT, and you can rest assured we'll always be looking out for and evaluating the latest technology or new ways of working with your business in mind. But we're also passionate about helping people, whatever your priorities. 

We've found that there are 3 elements to helping businesses get the most from their IT and all of what we do falls into one or more of these categories  PLAN, SUPPORT, ADVISE.

For everything we do, we PLAN and we'll help you plan too.  We make sure we've thought it through; we understand the goal or outcome and prepare for it as best we can.  We consider the options, alternative outcomes and downsides to all actions.  If you accept any recommendations to make changes we'll help you implement them in a simple and straightforward way.

Once we're past the planning phase we can SUPPORT and back up your business requirements in order to keep your systems and processes working effectively.

Finally we ADVISE, working with you to plan and implement your ongoing IT and Telecoms strategy, helping you, your business and your staff make the most from available technology.
