Cambridge Helpdesk

Summary of Terms and Conditions

Our Terms and Conditions run to some seven pages and cover the full legal obligations between you and ourselves. We have to protect you and ourselves from commercial risks and recognise the necessities of commercial life and the law.

In summary, we agree to provide you with the Service we have specified to agreed standards and scope. Whether Cambridge Helpdesk is providing you with hardware maintenance, software maintenance, web hosting or any other of our services, we will spell out exactly what we will do for you and at what cost and what is and what is not covered by the Contract.

You for your part need to tell us all relevant information at the outset and throughout the contract period. Our price and level of service is based up on a number of things including what you tell us. What you tell us must be accurate and you must at all times be open and honest with us.

You will not interfere with the system that we are maintaining or do anything to alter or undermine our work. You agree that you will not put any unauthorised software on the system, run any unauthorised hardware or enter into any modifications except by prior agreement with us.

The Terms and Conditions cover all eventualities that we think are reasonably foreseeable. They protect us both. You have been supplied with a copy and they are also available on the website. By entering into a Contract with us you become bound by these Terms and Conditions whether you read through them or not, so please do read them.

It is crucial that you understand the legal relations that underpin our agreement with you. Whilst we will try to do what is best, we all have legal rights and if necessary, we will invoke and rely on our legal rights.

However, the relationship we have with you is essentially based on trust and ensuring that each party meets its obligations to the other. We will be best able to give you the service that you require if you ensure that we are fully informed of your needs and your systems. We will work with you and to ensure that we do our best to give you the IT you want. This Contract is governed by legal requirements but for us it is about our Service making your business run to its very best advantage.
