Do you ever find you're in Excel but can't use the arrow keys to change cells?  You might have scroll lock enabled.  Most keyboards have a shortcut for Scroll Lock but some laptops don't.  On Dell's, you can press the Function (FN) + S key at the same time, you can turn this off/on.
